September Curriculum Package

September marks the start of the new school year. Summer has come to an end, as all things must and it is with this changing of the seasons that we introduce the Fall Mandala and the Focal Point: Internal. In addition to setting up the classroom environment and establishing developmentally appropriate classroom routines, we will begin to lay a strong and lasting foundation for building our students’ social emotional intelligence. Lesson plans in this section  include topics such as communication and problem solving techniques, spreading positivity amongst ourselves and others, and exploring emotions through music, drama, and creative arts.
