The Heart Scale
This poster is available to help aid in emotional check-ins. It provides a simple scale from “empty” to “full” that encourages us to reflect on where our heart is, helping to inform our process of discerning our emotions and needs/wants. We’ve also included some guiding questions, that can help direct emotional check-ins. Checking in with ourselves is a great daily practice that can be implemented at the beginning or throughout the day. First taking the steps to understand ourselves and where we’re at, can help inform the direction of the day, as well as build and strengthen cognitive and interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence.
