The Dark

What a perfect book for this time of year—better yet, the resiliency and bravery that it calls forth. So many of us have been or maybe even still are, afraid of the dark. This may be a literal or figurative fear, but this book lights the way for us to see its true importance! This unit encourages the recognition of fear, as well as normalizes it in a way that allows us to more easily accept it, and in turn, dissolve it. This book illuminates the significance of the dark.
